This week I am sharing art by nature, a pictorial of stunning tropical foliage I have photographed around South East Asia. Looking past the more obvious beauty of flowers, there is an equally gorgeous range of shapes, textures, colours and patterns in the supporting greenery. The foliage imagery that follows showcases an array of accordion style pleating; amethyst hued variegation; and unique detailing that looks as if it was hand painted or the canvas of an inkblot. The duende in these plants appeals to my lifelong love of textiles, and sparks my imagination in the context of fabrics and fashion. I hope you too find inspiration in their leafy allure. Enjoy!
If you love these natural beauties as much as I do, don’t forget to Pin this post for future reference!
